In the\u00a0Buffalo Bills\u00a0(7-3)\u00a0high-scored victory\u00a0over the\u00a0Tampa Buccaneers\u00a0(6-4) on Sunday, quarterback\u00a0Josh Allen\u00a0made a little NFL history.<\/p>\n
He became the\u00a0first QB with multiple games\u00a0of three-plus passing touchdowns and three-plus rushing touchdowns. Further cementing his legacy as one of the great all-time dual-threat QBs.<\/p>\n
On Sunday, the reigning MVP went 19-for-30 for 317 passing yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions. He also added three rushing touchdowns on six carries for 40 yards.<\/p>\n
Allen has now tied Cam Newton (75) for the most regular-season rushing touchdowns by a quarterback in NFL history.\u00a0Philadelphia Eagles\u2018\u00a0Jalen Hurts\u2014known for the much-debated \u201ctush push\u201d play\u2014has recorded 60 rushing touchdowns despite playing 35 fewer games.<\/p>\n

Allen\u2019s tough 9-yard run with 2:35 remaining sealed the Bills\u2019 44\u201332 victory over the Buccaneers on Sunday.<\/p>\n
In a shootout featuring nine lead changes, Allen outdueled fellow 2018 first-rounder\u00a0Baker Mayfield. Buffalo\u00a0benched\u00a0struggling receiver\u00a0Keon Coleman\u00a0to jump-start the passing attack, and all three of Allen\u2019s touchdown throws went for at least 25 yards.\u00a0Ty Johnson\u00a0scored on a 52-yard catch-and-run, Allen hit\u00a0Tyrell Shavers\u00a0deep for a 43-yard touchdown, and\u00a0James Cook\u00a0III added a 25-yard score.<\/p>\n
Allen put Buffalo ahead with a 5-yard touchdown run with 9:06 left. On his final rushing score, he escaped the pocket, absorbed contact at the 4-yard line, and was wrapped up at the 2 before the Bills\u2019 offensive linemen pushed him into the end zone. The game was effectively decided with 1:44 remaining, when Mayfield lost a fumble while being sacked by\u00a0DaQuan Jones. Mayfield finished 16-of-28 for 173 yards, with a touchdown, an interception, and a rushing score.<\/p>\n
Sean Tucker\u00a0carried the Buccaneers\u2019 offense, rushing for 106 yards and two touchdowns and adding a 28-yard receiving score to give Tampa Bay a 32\u201331 lead early in the fourth quarter.<\/p>\n
The teams traded explosive plays from the outset, producing five lead changes in the first half alone. Buffalo led 21\u201320 at the break despite holding the ball for just 9 minutes and 50 seconds.<\/p>\n
Coleman was a healthy scratch for the first time in his two-year career.\u00a0Gabe Davis\u00a0made his season debut after being elevated from the practice squad, and\u00a0Mecole Hardman\u00a0saw his first action as a Bill after being signed from the practice squad on Saturday. Hardman, however, did not return after suffering a calf injury in the second half.<\/p>\n
Head coach Sean McDermott and Allen have continued to face questions about the team\u2019s inconsistent passing attack, which currently sits in the middle of the league in yards per game.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the Bills led the NFL in rushing yards per game headed into Sunday, but Cook only rushed for 48 yards on 16 carries against the Bucs.<\/p>\n
The Bills have a short week before heading to Houston to play the\u00a0Texans\u00a0(5-5) on \u201cThursday Night Football.\u201d Houston may have the best defense in the NFL and have won two in a row with\u00a0Davis Mills\u00a0at quarterback because\u00a0C.J. Stroud\u00a0was concussed in Week 9.<\/p>\n
Usually the runaway winner of the AFC East in recent years, the Bills find themselves at the No. 5 wild-card spot in the playoff picture because the\u00a0New England Patriots are 9-2 and the overall No. 1 seed in the conference.\u00a0The Patriots defeated the Bills in Week 5 and the two meet again Week 15, Dec. 14.<\/p>\n
Tyler Guyton\u00a0is a left tackle for the\u00a0Dallas Cowboys. We learned Monday night that he might have a career in acting once his football career is over.<\/p>\n
Sometimes, you go to work hard to draw a flag. Guyton understands this, and he did just that in the second quarter of the Week 11 Monday Night Football game against the\u00a0Las Vegas Raiders. Guyton and Raiders defensive end\u00a0Malcolm Koonce\u00a0were holding on to each other before Guyton pushed Koonce off of him. Koonce responded by taking a swipe at Guyton, who\u00a0fell to the ground. Let\u2019s just say Guyton didn\u2019t exactly fall to the ground naturally.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s the thing: it worked. Guyton committed the sell of the year and Koonce got penalized for it, an unnecessary roughness penalty which Dallas declined. Three plays later, the Cowboys stretched their lead to 24-6 courtesy of a 37-yard receiving touchdown by\u00a0George Pickens. Dallas took a 24-9 lead into the locker room after Las Vegas ended the second quarter with a field goal.<\/p>\n
Guyton, the Cowboys\u2019 2024 first-round selection out of\u00a0Oklahoma, has started nine games for the Cowboys this season. The 24-year-old has struggled, grading out 64th out of 76 offensive tackles, per\u00a0<\/p>\n
