President Donald Trump has revealed that he underwent an MRI during his most recent medical checkup at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center earlier this month and that the results came back \u201cperfect,\u201d pushing back on recent speculation about his health from major media outlets.<\/p>\n

Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One en route to Tokyo, Trump confirmed the scan took place during what he described as his \u201csemi-annual physical.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 47th president joked about the thoroughness of the test and dismissed questions about why it was ordered.<\/p>\n

\u201cI did, I got an MRI \u2014 it was perfect,\u201d Trump said. \u201cWe had an MRI, and the machine, you know, the whole thing, and it was perfect.\u201d<\/p>\n

When pressed on why he underwent the imaging procedure, Trump replied, \u201cYou could ask the doctors.\u201d<\/p>\n

The MRI was conducted at Walter Reed on Oct. 10 as part of a broader medical evaluation that Trump characterized as routine. The White House described it as a continuation of a series of checkups that began earlier in the year, including a full physical in April.<\/p>\n

Trump told reporters that his medical team had given him \u201csome of the best reports for the age\u201d and insisted that the results were entirely normal.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf I didn\u2019t think it was going to be good, I wouldn\u2019t run,\u201d Trump said, referring to his 2026 re-election campaign.<\/p>\n

The brief comments came amid renewed speculation in mainstream media outlets about the 79-year-old president\u2019s health, much of it driven by online rumors and out-of-context photographs circulated by partisan commentators.<\/p>\n

In July, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt publicly addressed reports of Trump\u2019s swollen ankles and bruises on his hands \u2014 claims that circulated on social media and were amplified by several cable networks.<\/p>\n

Leavitt said at the time that Trump had been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, a common condition among adults over 70 that can cause swelling in the lower legs.<\/p>\n

She added that Trump\u2019s cardiac function remained strong, citing an echocardiogram performed earlier in the summer that showed a \u201cnormal cardiac structure and function.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is zero indication of any cardiovascular impairment,\u201d Leavitt said at the time. \u201cThe president\u2019s physicians have been transparent, and his overall health is excellent.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite those statements, several media figures have continued to question Trump\u2019s stamina and cognitive sharpness, even as they largely ignored similar concerns about President Joe Biden\u2019s physical and mental decline during his final months in office.<\/p>\n

Trump allies have dismissed the coverage as politically motivated. \u201cThe same outlets that spent four years covering up Biden\u2019s collapse are now inventing stories about President Trump\u2019s blood pressure,\u201d said senior adviser Jason Miller. \u201cThe contrast in transparency could not be more obvious.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to medical experts familiar with routine executive screenings, an MRI may be ordered as part of a precautionary assessment, particularly for older adults with a history of orthopedic or vascular issues. A normal MRI, as Trump described, would indicate no abnormalities in the brain, spine, or soft tissue structures typically screened during such tests.<\/p>\n

White House physician Dr. Sean Conley has not released additional details about the test but confirmed last week that Trump\u2019s overall health remains \u201cexcellent\u201d and that \u201cthe president continues to meet or exceed all clinical standards for someone of his age.\u201d<\/p>\n

During his first term, Trump underwent multiple publicized physicals at Walter Reed, often releasing summaries to the press afterward \u2014 a transparency measure that contrasts sharply with the Biden administration\u2019s handling of health disclosures.<\/p>\n

Trump, who has long emphasized vigor and stamina as part of his public image, laughed off further questions from reporters Monday as Air Force One continued toward Japan. \u201cYou people worry too much,\u201d he said. \u201cIf I didn\u2019t feel great, you\u2019d be the first to know \u2014 believe me.\u201d<\/p>\n

A community in Wisconsin is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Hannah Glass, a bright and compassionate freshman at Maranatha Baptist University who tragically lost her life due to an unexpected allergic reaction to a brownie.<\/p>\n

On November 5, the young woman, who turned 19 two days before, had a violent reaction to a brownie she received from a friend. The\u00a0teenager\u00a0had a known allergy to peanuts, and was usually careful, but she was unaware the sweet treat reportedly contained roasted peanut flour, an ingredient used as a gluten-free alternative.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe second bite, she knew something was wrong,\u201d Hannah\u2019s father, David Glass, told\u00a0WISN. The dad then explained her friend brought his daughter the brownie from a women\u2019s group on campus and while the treat was made with peanut flour to accommodate gluten-free students, it didn\u2019t consider those with severe peanut allergies.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe believe because this product contained roasted peanut flour, separate from oily peanut butter, that masked this,\u201d continued David, who along with Hannah\u2019s mother, Janean, raced about 45 minutes from their home in Milton, Wisconsin, to the school residence in Watertown.<\/p>\n

Hannah\u2019s reaction was aggressive and immediate. Her father shares that she had thrown up, welled up with hives, and managed to find some relief with Benadryl.<\/p>\n

But when she crawled up to her top bunk to rest, her condition changed dramatically.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen Hannah rolled on her side, the anaphylaxis reaction that we had not seen before hit incredibly hard. This caused her to gasp for breath, leading to the collapsing of the lung, further exacerbating the situation,\u201d the grieving dad writes in the Facebook post that he shared November 11.<\/p>\n

That was when Hannah climbed down the ladder from her bed and lost consciousness \u201cpart way down\u201d \u2013 before her EpiPen was administered.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI picked Hannah up\u2026and carried her outside to wait for the ambulance to arrive,\u201d the father penned. \u201cShe was completely unresponsive, and I was incredibly helpless.\u201d<\/p>\n

Paramedics arrived and worked tirelessly to revive her, but Hannah\u2019s heart had stopped for four minutes. She was immediately rushed to Watertown Hospital, before being transferred to Froedtert Hospital, where she was placed on a ventilator.<\/p>\n

Her family watched helplessly as doctors fought to save her\u00a0life, but the damage was severe.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe majority of her brain was unmistakably, seriously, critically, and without the life-sustaining measures in place, TERMINALLY damaged,\u201d David writes om Facebook of the brain damage sustained after having several seizures, which led to \u201csevere brain swelling.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThere were no conversations of quality of life or anything like that. This was only life and death!\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite the tireless efforts of medical professionals, Hannah\u2019s brain suffered critical damage that left her without hope of recovery.<\/p>\n

Before Hannah\u2019s final goodbye on November 10, 2024, she was honored with a traditional \u201cHonor Walk,\u201d a touching tribute as she was taken to the operating room for\u00a0organ\u00a0donation.<\/p>\n

About 300 people lined the walls of the hallway for the walk, her family by her side until their \u201cfinal goodbye.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt seemed like an endless walk, yet it was also going too quickly,\u201d David shared.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe went and picked up Hannah\u2019s cremated remains. It was and is a strange mix of emotions. There is still a strong sense of disbelief,\u201d David writes in a November 22, 2024 Facebook post. \u201cHaving now, this physical, tangible, memorial of her physical life and body is nice, in one sense, because we now have something to see and to \u2018hold on to,\u2019 but it is also very sad because this is certainly not the same relationship that we had before. But, then again, it is good to have her home.\u201d<\/p>\n

Now her parents are reminding people with food allergies to \u201cAlways be aware. Make sure your EpiPens are up to date,\u201d David said.<\/p>\n

Hannah\u2019s organs have already saved four people who desperately needed lifesaving transplants.<\/p>\n
