After a rocky start to the second Golden Bachelor season, Mel Owens pulled off a fairytale ending. He didn\u2019t propose to his final rose winner, Peg Munson, as expected. However, he offered her a stunning diamond ring to show his commitment to pursuing a relationship with her.<\/p>\n
The two have been on a press tour since their happy ending. Despite rumors claiming otherwise, Peg Munson and Mel Owens are eager to\u00a0move forward with their lives together\u00a0after meeting on the reality TV show.<\/p>\n
In an interview with\u00a0Extra<\/em>, the happy couple shared their busy, busy schedule for the coming months. \u201cWe have a lot planned. We\u2019re going to Vegas right after this. And then after that, we\u2019re going back to Detroit, Michigan, for Thanksgiving,\u201d Peg Munson told the outlet.<\/p>\n She added, \u201cAnd we\u2019re going to a University of Michigan-Ohio State game. We\u2019re going to Hob Nobble Gobble. It\u2019s a gala\u2026 And then we\u2019re going to spend Christmas in Rio and then we\u2019re going to the Super Bowl in February and then back to Vegas in December for his birthday. We have a lot planned.\u201d<\/p>\n In between all that, Mel Owens hopes she finds time to compete on DWTS. \u201cI\u2019m gonna nominate her right now. She can dance,\u201d the Golden Bachelor said during the interview.<\/p>\n Peg Munson was \u201c1000%\u201d into the idea. \u201cIt was one of my dreams, to be honest with you, to be able to\u2026 I would love to be the first Golden to get out there and really just, you know, work my butt off,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n Mel Owens reiterated nominating his girlfriend for\u00a0DWTS<\/em>\u00a0during a separate interview with\u00a0Parade<\/em>\u00a0magazine.\u00a0\u201cI\u2019m telling you, the girl can dance \u2014 spontaneously! She was part of a senior dance group called \u201cThe High Rollers\u201d for the WNBA\u2019s Vegas team.<\/p>\n \u201cA couple of years ago they decided to have a 50 and older dance team and there were about 200 women who auditioned and I tried out and there were 23 of us, 24 of us and I made it,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n Peg Munson also danced at the former Aladdin Hotel on the strip. \u201cIt was called \u2018Country Tonite.\u2019 I danced on the strip for just a little bit.
