It also\u00a0follows a false claim\u00a0by then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) that neither then-President Trump nor anyone else requested National Guard support.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe found no evidence in the materials we reviewed or the testimony we received showing or suggesting that the FBI had undercover employees in the various protest crowds, or at the Capitol, on January 6,\u201d the DOJ OIG said in an 88-page report released in December 2024.<\/p>\n
Wray\u00a0testified before Congress\u00a0in July 2023 that he \u201cdoes not believe\u201d undercover FBI agents were present at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m not sure there were undercover agents on scene,\u201d Wray responded to a question from a GOP lawmaker. \u201cAs I sit here right now, I do not believe there were undercover agents on.\u201d<\/p>\n
Sund said that on January 5, one day before the Capitol protests, he met with representatives from major federal agencies and specifically asked whether any liaison would be assigned from agencies planning to have personnel on the ground. According to Sund, no agency disclosed such plans.<\/p>\n

In her 2021 congressional financial disclosure, Omar reported that EStreetCo was a \u201ccreative agency\u201d and valued her husband\u2019s stake at no more than $1,000. This was during the same period the IRS claims the company failed to pay its required taxes.<\/p>\n
The lien does not involve Mynett\u2019s earlier political consulting firm, E Street Group, which received $2.9 million from Omar\u2019s campaign during the 2020 election cycle. No known tax liens have been filed against that business.<\/p>\n
Although the lien remains listed as active in Sonoma County records, a spokesman for EStreetCo insisted the tax debt has been resolved. \u201cThe tax bill has been paid in full and a credit is due,\u201d the spokesman told the Free Beacon.<\/p>\n
He also provided IRS account transcripts dated September 3, 2025, showing the agency now owes the company a $3,042 tax credit and that no outstanding balance remains. The IRS declined to comment on the matter.<\/p>\n
