Emma Slater may have just gotten eliminated from season 34 of Dancing With the Stars, but her boyfriend and fellow pro, Alan Bersten, is still on her team.<\/p>\n
\u201cForever grateful for your love and for the person who took this photo of you kissing me with your eyes open! @alanbersten,\u201d Slater, 36, wrote of Bersten, 31, via Instagram on Friday, November 14.<\/p>\n
In the pic, Slater wore a backless, sequined and fringed ensemble as Bersten, in a shimmering white top, held her shoulders and kissed her \u2014 yes, with his eyes open.<\/p>\n
The image seemed to be snapped during DWTS\u2019 20th Birthday Party on Tuesday, November 11, during which Slater and her celebrity partner, Andy Richter, were eliminated after surviving nine weeks of competition.<\/p>\n
\u201cAll I can really say right now is I love you Andy and thank you for changing my life,\u201d Slater wrote of Richter, 59, alongside an Instagram video on Thursday, November 13. \u201cI\u2019m so glad now we are family. @richtercommaandy I cried about a million times putting this together. Look at these memories. You are SO SPECIAL.\u201d<\/p>\n
Bersten, who is currently still in the competition alongside his partner Elaine Hendrix, has been a longtime supporter of Slater and Richter\u2019s partnership \u2014 despite some viewers feeling he should have been voted off earlier in terms of his skill level.<\/p>\n
\u201cAndy is incredible and just touching the hearts of America,\u201d Bersten exclusively told Us Weekly following Week 3 in September. \u201cEveryone deserves to be here. And it\u2019s just a really tough season.\u201d<\/p>\n
Slater and Bersten reportedly began seeing each other romantically in 2024, as season 33 of DWTS was airing. Slater and Bersten sealed the rumors with a kiss during an April 2025 live show on tour.<\/p>\n
\u201cDid it go viral?\u201d Bersten exclusively asked Us of the romance reveal. \u201cWe\u2019re just enjoying life.\u201d<\/p>\n
Prior to dating Bersten, Slater was married to former pro Sasha Farber from 2018 to 2023. Farber, 41, for his part, fully supports Slater and Bersten\u2019s relationship.<\/p>\n
\u201cDefinitely not awkward,\u201d he said during a TikTok Live in October. \u201cI\u2019m really happy for her and Alan and I wish them nothing but the best. That\u2019s all I can say.\u201d<\/p>\n
Without sharing details, Farber explained that \u201cthings don\u2019t always work out in life\u201d so there\u2019s \u201cno point\u201d to \u201cever have any hate\u201d toward others.<\/p>\n
\u201cBecause what\u2019s the point? So you thank each other for your incredible time that you had together \u2014 because, you know, the time that we did have together wasn\u2019t bad, it was amazing \u2014 and you move on and you wish the other person nothing but the best,\u201d he explained. \u201cThere\u2019s no point of hate, because it would only eat you up inside. So we don\u2019t need that in life, right? Just be present, be happy, and the rest is history.\u201d<\/p>\n
While discussing their split during a 2023 episode of the \u201cViall Files\u201d podcast, Slater revealed that \u201cthe kid thing\u201d led to their separation.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s interesting because I do want to have kids, I just don\u2019t want to delay Sasha\u2019s path in having kids because I know that he is ready for that,\u201d she said. \u201cI don\u2019t want to talk about him too much because that\u2019s really for him to say, but it\u2019s about kids.\u201d<\/p>\n
She continued: \u201cI do want kids. I don\u2019t know what it is, I\u2019m just figuring that out for myself. It\u2019s not something I take lightly and I don\u2019t want to enter into something that I\u2019m not sure about because I would never do that.\u201d<\/p>\n
Dancing With the Stars airs on ABC and Disney+ Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET, with new episodes streaming the next day on Hulu.<\/p>\n

Bret also weighs in, seemingly telling Zac, \u201cIt is so hard to take you seriously with that little munchkin voice.\u201d<\/p>\n
As Secret Lives fans may recall, Nick confirmed he would not be hosting any further reunions after season two.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cI won\u2019t be hosting the season 3 reunion,\u201d he explained on a September episode of his podcast, The Viall Files. \u201cI\u2019m sad because I love those women. I love that show and it was great to be a part of it.\u201d<\/p>\n
According to Nick, it was a conflict of interest he had with Hulu after signing on to appear on Netflix\u2019s upcoming dating show, Age of Attraction.<\/p>\n
