Over 150 Bravolebs attended\u00a0BravoCon, and unsurprisingly, it was\u00a0Jeff Lewis<\/strong>\u00a0who made the grossest comment of the weekend.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Flipping Out\u00a0star, who is gearing up to make his return to Bravo, made a \u201cjoke\u201d about\u00a0<\/p>\n

That didn\u2019t go over well with the audience or\u00a0Andy Cohen.<\/p>\n

During the first day of BravoCon, Jeff kicked things off with an Ask Andy Q&A. Their dynamic felt awkward from the moment they walked out on stage. We\u2019re not sure if it was\u00a0the pressure of BravoCon\u00a0or some underlying issue, but their normal fiery banter crossed over into cringey territory.<\/p>\n

One of the most uncomfortable moments happened when Jeff started\u00a0criticizing the Real Housewives franchise. He said that Andy and the producers \u201cdeviated\u201d too far from the formula by casting women who weren\u2019t \u201cas affluent.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jeff said, \u201cLike Monica Garcia, for example, didn\u2019t her food benefits just get frozen?\u201d<\/p>\n

The audience didn\u2019t like that comment, and neither did Andy. He quickly came to Monica\u2019s defense, noting that her participation on the show created one of the \u201cbest seasons of Housewives.\u201d<\/p>\n

If you watch the Ask Andy panel on Peacock, you\u2019ll see that editors scrubbed the food stamp comment from the record. That suggests that\u00a0the offhand comment\u00a0didn\u2019t land well with the folks in charge. Meanwhile, Jeff told\u00a0Us Weekly\u00a0that he thought he \u201ckilled it\u201d at the panel but apologized to Andy for taking things too far.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have apologized. Look, I know this guy. We\u2019ve known each other for 18 years. He vents and, look, I sincerely did apologize,\u201d Jeff continued. \u201cNow I gotta give him time to cool off. My experience with him, he\u2019ll get back to me in one to three weeks.\u201d<\/p>\n
