Bruce Springsteen delivered more than just a powerful performance at the Sea.Hear.Now Festival in Asbury Park this weekend \u2014 he shared a deeply personal moment with his wife and longtime bandmate, Patti Scialfa.<\/p>\n

Returning to his roots along the Jersey Shore, \u201cThe Boss\u201d closed out the two-day music event with an epic three-hour-plus set on Sunday night, backed by his iconic E Street Band and the crashing waves of the Atlantic just feet away.<\/p>\n

Midway through the show, Springsteen invited Scialfa to join him on stage for an emotional duet of \u201cTougher Than the Rest\u201d \u2014 a poignant choice following recent revelations about her private health battle. The 71-year-old singer-songwriter and guitarist revealed in the new documentary Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band that she has been living with multiple myeloma since 2018.<\/p>\n

\u201cTouring has been difficult,\u201d Scialfa shares in the film. \u201cBut now and then, I\u2019m able to join a few shows \u2014 and that\u2019s really special.\u201d Her radiant smile during Sunday\u2019s performance told its own story.<\/p>\n

As the couple stood close, swaying gently and sharing the microphone, fans were visibly moved. \u201cWe\u2019ve got my beautiful wife, Patti Scialfa, here with us tonight!\u201d Springsteen beamed to the crowd.<\/p>\n
