Pelosi also said several colleagues display the same flag.

She acknowledged that many Republicans on Capitol Hill oppose medical transition for transgender youth.

Still, she is not alone in her stance on sex changes for kids.

Earlier this month, over a dozen officials from Democratic-led states filed a lawsuit to stop the Trump administration from blocking access to sex change procedures and treatments for people under the age of 19.

The complaint, which was filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, argues that the Trump administration wants to impose a nationwide ban on sex change procedures by threatening providers with “baseless criminal charges” and investigations.

The lawsuit names President Donald Trump, Attorney General Pam Bondi and the Justice Department as defendants. It challenges Trump’s Jan. 28 executive order barring government support for sex change operations and treatments and two memos by Bondi and Assistant Attorney General Brett Shumate.

Pelosi’s office told Fox News Digital the Democrat was referring to this lawsuit when she spoke about supporting sex changes for children.

Bondi’s memo directs the Department of Justice (DOJ) to investigate and prosecute those who offer sex-change treatments to minors. Shumate’s memo directs prosecutors to prioritize investigations against doctors, hospitals and pharmaceutical companies that perform such procedures.

In July, Kaiser Permanente announced that it would pause sex change surgeries for patients under 19 beginning Aug. 29 in response to the Trump administration’s efforts on the matter. The same month, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles shuttered its Center for Trans Youth Health and Development, one of the nation’s largest clinics for transgender young people.

The Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C., also announced that it will no longer provide gender transition-related medical interventions.

Many states have laws restricting or banning sex change surgeries for children. The states named in the lawsuit – California, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Washington D.C., and Wisconsin. – allow such procedures.

Rep. Nancy Pelosi’s Monday evening speaking event with Paul Krugman, an economist, at the City University of New York’s Graduate Center was interrupted by a few hilarious hecklers who ripped into her as being both a “war criminal” and a “sad old drunk” when they interrupted the event.

Those hecklers interrupted the event four times, berating Pelosi mainly for foreign policy missteps and her alleged corruption, along with her supposed drinking habit.

One heckler, for example, screamed that Pelosi belongs in the depths of hell for her involvement in the Iraq war, saying, “You know Pelosi, that’s a very good place for you in the depths of hell. For some

reason, you have a very bad obsession of getting us into war. Hey, why is it that you did not admit that there were no WMDs in Iraq?”Continuing, that same heckler yelled, “You lied us into a war in Iraq. You got us to invade Afghanistan. Now over 90 percent of those people are impoverished and are dying. Why don’t you tell the truth about Nordstream? Why did we destroy Nordstream? You’re leaving millions of Germans without energy

Kate Middleton and Prince William have always shared a deep affection for animals—a trait common throughout the Royal Family. Perhaps the most famous royal pets were the corgis adored by the late Queen Elizabeth II.

The Prince and Princess of Wales became dog owners themselves in 2011 and have been devoted dog enthusiasts ever since. Following the heartbreaking death of their beloved dog Lupo in 2020, Kate Middleton’s brother, James Middleton, gifted the family a new dog, a cocker spaniel named Orla, for William, Kate, and their three children.

Like their residence, much about Orla’s day-to-day life remains private. Despite this, the adorable puppy has become a treasured member of the family. Recently, Prince William shared new details about Orla, revealing that she has a rather unusual sleeping habit.

Different Backgrounds, Shared Love for Dogs

Kate Middleton and Prince William come from very different upbringings. While Kate enjoyed a relatively normal and privileged childhood, William’s life was shaped by the pressures of being heir to the throne and the trauma of losing his mother, Princess Diana, at a young age.

Pets, particularly dogs, have long been an important part of the Royal Family. Prince William seems to have inherited this love from his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, who famously adored her corgis.

Lupo: The Beloved Family Dog

Before Orla, William and Kate’s cherished dog was Lupo, a loyal cocker spaniel who even played a role in naming their eldest son, Prince George. The couple struggled to decide on a name for their newborn and, in a charming twist, brought Lupo into the decision-making process.

They wrote down potential names on scraps of paper and laid them out on the floor, then allowed Lupo to choose. The dog approached the scrap with the name George, settling the matter instantly.

The couple shared their grief publicly after Lupo’s death in 2020:

“Our beloved dog, Lupo, sadly passed away. For the past nine years, he has been the center of our family, and we shall miss him terribly.”

An insider later told the Daily Mail, “When Lupo died, they were devastated.”

Orla: The New Family Member

Shortly after Lupo’s passing, the family welcomed a new cocker spaniel puppy, Orla, into their lives. Adopted from Kate’s brother, James Middleton, Orla has become a loyal companion to George, Charlotte, and Louis, sharing in their daily adventures and growing up alongside them.

James Middleton told OK! magazine:

“I’m really happy that they can enjoy and benefit from having a dog in their lives. I think they’re fortunate to have a dog as part of their family.”Orla’s name is fitting for a royal pup—it means “golden princess” and is a common girl’s name in Ireland. She enjoys the best care at Adelaide Cottage, and, like a true family member, even sleeps in her owners’ bed.

Prince William and Orla’s Special Bond

Prince William has shown a genuine fondness for animals. During a visit to Duchy College Stoke Climsland in Callington, Cornwall, in mid-October, he interacted warmly with students and their dogs.

William revealed Orla’s bedtime habits during a conversation with Louise Harland, a dog owner whose pet had taken a liking to the future king. Harland told Hits Radio Cornwall:

“[He] had a deep affection for my small dog. He asked about the breed—it was a cockerjack, a combination he had never seen before. He also mentioned that Orla ‘loves cuddles’ and sleeps on the bed with him and Kate at night.”

This glimpse into the couple’s private life highlights the warmth and kindness with which Prince William engages with both animals and the public. Stories like these remind everyone that beyond royal duties, the future king and his family cherish simple, heartfelt moments—like sharing their home with a beloved pet.

The sun bathed the garden in a golden glow as guests gathered under the large, white canopy to witness the union of Emily and Jack. Lush roses framed the aisle where Emily would soon walk, their gentle fragrance mingling with the soft hum of conversation and laughter. It was a perfect day, the kind you see in fairytales, with every detail meticulously planned. The air was filled with anticipation.

As the string quartet began to play Pachelbel’s Canon, the murmurs hushed into silence, and all eyes turned towards the grand entrance where Emily was poised to make her walk down the aisle. She appeared, radiant in her ivory gown. The dress was a masterpiece, its delicate lace shimmering in the sunlight, and the pearls on her veil catching every ray. Her smile was bright, her eyes locked onto Jack’s at the end of the aisle, who stood in awe, his heart full of love.

Halfway through her journey down the aisle, something inexplicable happened. Emily suddenly paused, a puzzled look crossing her face. The hall fell silent, the music fading as the guests’ eyes widened in curiosity. It was then that a slight movement was observed beneath the voluminous folds of her dress.

A ripple of shock spread through the crowd as a collective gasp echoed. Jack’s expression transformed from adoration to alarm as he watched Emily, his face paling by the second. The movement became more pronounced, causing the delicate fabric to shift unexpectedly.

“Is it a prank?” whispered an elderly aunt to her companion, her voice barely audible above the growing murmur of the guests.

Emily stood frozen, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment and confusion. She exchanged an anxious glance with her maid of honor, Lily, who quickly stepped forward. With as much grace and discretion as possible given the circumstances, Lily lifted the edge of the dress slightly, peering underneath.

A moment later, a small, fluffy creature darted out from under the gown, eliciting a mixture of laughter and relief from the crowd. It was Max, Emily’s mischievous kitten, who had somehow managed to sneak into the wedding unnoticed. The mischievous feline darted between the rows of chairs, his tail held high and his eyes wide with excitement, oblivious to the commotion he’d caused.

Jack’s expression shifted from concern to amusement, his laughter breaking the tension. “Looks like Max wanted to be part of the ceremony too,” he joked, as the guests chuckled heartily, their initial surprise melting into adoration for the furry intruder.

Emily, though initially startled, couldn’t help but laugh along with everyone else. She bent down, scooping Max into her arms, her embarrassment giving way to affection for her beloved pet. With a shrug and a smile, she handed the kitten over to Lily, who took him to a safe place away from the main event.

The ceremony resumed, the temporary interruption turning into a story that would be cherished and retold at family gatherings for years to come. It added a touch of spontaneity to an otherwise meticulously planned day, reminding everyone that love and joy often come with unexpected surprises.

As Emily continued down the aisle, Jack met her with a grin that spoke of understanding and shared amusement, making their vows even more poignant. The incident, far from ruining the day, had added an unforgettable charm to their wedding, cementing it as a joyful beginning to their life together, filled with laughter, love, and the occasional unexpected adventure.

Nancy Pelosi says sex changes for trans kids is something she’s working for ‘at the national level’.Pelosi said she flies a transgender flag outside her office.Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Thursday…

[1

post-18788","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-hot-news
["GET
