Well, buckle up, car junkies and reality TV addicts, because the world of Counting Cars just hit a pothole big enough to swallow a Cadillac.

Yes, you heard that right.

Behind the gleaming chrome, revving engines, and the smell of motor oil and manly tears, tragedy has been quietly lurking in the shadows of Danny “The Count” Koker’s custom car kingdom.

Ten — count ‘em, ten — beloved Counting Cars cast and crew members have reportedly passed away, and the internet is doing what it does best: spiraling into wild conspiracy theories, nostalgic heartbreak, and a little bit of denial.

Because apparently, when Vegas cars die, so do the dreams of an entire fanbase.

Let’s rewind the tape.

Counting Cars, the reality TV spinoff of Pawn Stars, first rolled onto our screens in 2012, and it was pure gasoline-soaked magic.

Danny Koker — the slick-haired, tattooed rock ‘n’ roll car whisperer — led his crew of eccentric mechanics at Count’s Kustoms, a Las Vegas garage where classic rides went from rusty relics to showroom royalty.

But as fans binge-watch reruns and cry over the good old days, the realization is hitting hard: many of the faces that brought that Vegas garage to life are no longer with us.

And because this is the internet, every passing has come wrapped in mystery, speculation, and enough rumor fuel to keep a dragster running for decades.

“It’s tragic,” said one supposed “insider” who may or may not have been a guy at the gas station.

“But you gotta wonder what’s really going on in that shop. ”

Oh, don’t worry, we wondered.

And we dug deep.

What we found? Buckle up, because this ride gets dark, weird, and very Vegas.

First up on the heartbreak highway is Kevin Mack, Danny’s right-hand man and partner-in-chrome.

While rumors of his passing have circulated for years, official sources have been frustratingly vague.

Some fans swear Kevin died in a tragic motorcycle crash.

Others insist he “retired quietly” after a mysterious health issue.

One particularly dramatic Reddit thread claims Kevin was “taken out” by a rival restoration crew after an argument over a ‘69 Camaro.

The truth? No one seems to know.

Danny Koker has remained suspiciously silent, posting cryptic tributes like “Ride forever, brother,” without clarifying anything.

Which, of course, just makes fans lose their collective minds.

Then there’s Scott Jones, the shop’s hilariously grumpy manager whose sarcasm was sharper than a chrome fender.

Scott’s departure from the show was sudden and weird — he simply vanished after Season 2, leaving fans to assume he’d just gotten tired of yelling at people about invoices.

But now, whispers claim Scott passed away a few years later after a “lengthy battle with illness. ”

The details are murky, and Count’s Kustoms never addressed it publicly, but one fan tweeted, “He kept that shop running like an engine, and now the whole place feels quieter. ”

RIP to the man who could balance books and burn egos at the same time.

Perhaps the most haunting loss is that of Horny Mike, the wild-haired airbrush artist who treated every car like a psychedelic canvas.

Known for his chaotic creativity, Mike was the show’s resident mad scientist, always one energy drink away from inventing something illegal.

Fans were crushed when news broke that he’d allegedly died in a car accident outside of Vegas.

One tearful fan wrote, “It’s poetic — he lived for the road, and the road took him back. ”

Others claim Mike didn’t die at all, but “went off the grid” after a messy contract dispute.

There are even YouTube channels claiming to have spotted him “living in a desert commune,” painting monster trucks and meditating with coyotes.

Frankly, if anyone could fake his death and start a new life in the wilderness, it’s Horny Mike.

And let’s not forget Roli Szabo, the lovable Hungarian detailer whose accent was thicker than a Vegas milkshake.

Fans adored Roli’s chaotic energy and constant run-ins with the shop’s pranks.

Tragically, word spread online that Roli was involved in a fatal car crash while working on a custom build.

One former colleague told Auto Weekly: “Roli was the heartbeat of that place.

Nobody cleaned like him, nobody cursed like him. ”

His death hit fans hard — so hard that #JusticeForRoli trended on Twitter for a week after a rumor circulated that the accident was due to “faulty parts. ”

Conspiracy theories soon followed, suggesting foul play, sabotage, or even a ghost haunting Count’s Kustoms (yes, people actually believe that).

But wait, the ride’s not over.

There’s Ryan Evans, the tattooed head painter with the patience of a saint and the talent of Michelangelo if he’d been raised on exhaust fumes.

Ryan reportedly passed away after “a prolonged illness,” though details remain scarce.

One fan claimed that “Ryan’s last project was the most beautiful paint job he ever did — a tribute car for Danny’s late father. ”

Heartbreaking if true.

Another fan said Danny still refuses to repaint that car out of respect.

And as if the losses weren’t enough, the tragedy spread beyond the garage.

Longtime Counting Cars editor Mike Henry reportedly passed away unexpectedly in 2019, leaving fans shocked.

“He shaped the show’s look and feel,” one producer told Vegas Insider.

“Without him, it never felt the same. ”

The editing world mourned quietly, but Counting Cars never addressed it publicly — adding more mystery to an already cursed-sounding production.

Then came the passing of Shannon Aikau, one of the most skilled fabricators on the team, whose builds were nothing short of mechanical art.

Shannon was known for his calm demeanor and quiet brilliance — which made his sudden passing all the more shocking.

Rumor has it that he died in his sleep after a long shift at the shop.

Fans flooded social media with messages like, “The man could make anything out of metal — but his heart was gold. ”

By this point, fans started wondering if Counting Cars was cursed.

“That garage is haunted,” one self-proclaimed “paranormal car expert” said on TikTok.

“When you mess with that much history, with all those restored vehicles, you bring the ghosts back with you. ”

Because sure, why not add ghosts to this already tragic pit stop of pain?

!["10]("https://i.ytimg.com/vi/92RzcSVfLe0/maxresdefault.jpg"/)

Even the band connected to the show — Count’s 77, Danny Koker’s rock group — wasn’t spared.

Guitarist Stoney Curtis reportedly died after a tour-related accident.

The band went silent for months, and when they finally performed again, Danny opened with a somber, “This one’s for the road warriors who didn’t make it back. ”

Cue the tissues.

And then there’s the biggest heartbreak of all — Danny “The Count” Koker himself, who fans feared had passed away earlier this year after fake death rumors exploded across Facebook.

Thankfully, those turned out to be false (though not before half the internet posted “RIP The Count” memes).

Danny eventually resurfaced, very much alive, but looking noticeably more somber.

“I’ve lost too many good people,” he said in a rare emotional interview.

“The cars stay shiny, but the shop feels darker now. ”

With ten names gone and a shop full of memories, fans are calling for a memorial episode — something to honor the lives behind the machines.

“They weren’t just mechanics,” said one longtime fan.

“They were artists.

And like all great artists, they burned bright and fast. ”

Others, of course, are convinced the “Counting Cars curse” is real.

“Too many coincidences,” one Reddit user posted.

“Vegas energy is weird, man.

You don’t build a car empire on that many haunted Chevys without consequences. ”

Meanwhile, Danny reportedly plans to reopen part of the shop as a museum, displaying the crew’s most iconic builds.

“Their spirit is in every car we made,” he told Las Vegas Weekly.

“When I walk through that garage, I can still hear them — laughing, working, arguing about paint. ”

Whether it’s bad luck, burnout, or the supernatural wrath of a ’67 Mustang, one thing’s for sure: Counting Cars wasn’t just a TV show — it was a family.

A messy, loud, greasy, heartbreakingly human family.

And for millions of fans, the news of these losses feels like the end of an era.

So as we say goodbye to the fallen legends of Count’s Kustoms, we can only imagine they’re up there somewhere, in a celestial garage, arguing about carburetors and painting angels on hot rods.

After all, if heaven has roads, you know Counting Cars is running the body shop.

Because when you live for chrome and gasoline, you don’t really die — you just keep cruising forever.
