Judge, let me give them to Piers Morgan. I want to give them to Piers Morgan. Why, Judge, are you preventing me from disclosing material that would be very, very important in putting a whole picture on this thing?” Mediaite reported.

Appearing on the same show moments earlier, Mike Nellis, described as a “social impact entrepreneur” and former advisor to Kamala Harris, pushed back on Dershowitz’s claims.

He said the files Dershowitz controls “represent about 3% of what would be considered the Epstein files” and argued that the Justice Department and the White House could “end this at any time” by releasing the far larger tranche of materials.

Dershowitz rejected that assertion. “No, they can’t,” he said.

“It’ll never end as long as judges are sealing depositions,” he argued. “I know what’s in those documents! I know something you don’t know! I know what’s in those documents. That’s why it’s so important to get these judicial documents out there, if the judge will give me permission.”

The former Harvard law professor represented Epstein, and as such the attorney-client privilege would still apply to their communications even after Epstein’s death — meaning Dershowitz’s ability to waive disclosure is highly constrained.

Yet the broader context has shifted this week: newly released emails tied to Epstein show him making pointed comments about former President Donald Trump, and an additional tranche of around 20,000 pages of estate records from Epstein was released by the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. The committee’s press release described them as coming from the Epstein estate.

Among the newly published emails: in one from April 2, 2011, Epstein told his longtime associate Ghislaine Maxwell that “that dog that hasn’t barked is Trump … [victim] spent hours at my house with him” — the “dog” reference implying Trump had not yet been questioned.

In another from December 2018, Epstein wrote that Trump was “borderline insane. Dersh, a few feet further from the border but not by much.”

And in one from February 1, 2019, he asserted: “Trump knew of it. and came to my house many times during that period … He never got a massage.”

The White House accused Democrats of selectively leaking the emails to “create a fake narrative” against Trump.

Meanwhile, Dershowitz said the problem isn’t the administration — it’s the courts. “It’s not the White House that’s keeping a lot of the most important material out,” he said. “It’s judges — three federal judges in New York have sealed depositions. I want those depositions out there!”

During the broadcast, he added: “I know what’s in those documents!” He called for the judicial restraints to be lifted so the fuller story can emerge.

While the Oversight Committee has released tens of thousands of pages of documents, legal experts note that many of the filings are already publicly available and heavily redacted.

At the same time, a bipartisan petition is moving through Congress aimed at forcing the Department of Justice to disclose all remaining files tied to Epstein.

The entire dynamic remains politically charged. Trump continues to deny any wrongdoing in relation to Epstein, though the newly released materials raise questions about how closely the two men stayed in touch, and what knowledge Trump may have had of Epstein’s activities.

The legal and ethical boundaries of attorney-client privilege, sealed court filings, and public accountability are all colliding in this case.

The FBI has unveiled chilling new information in the investigation of Charlie Kirk’s assassination, revealing how a complex trail of digital clues, family intervention, and surveillance footage led authorities to arrest 22-year-old Tyler Robinson for the fatal shooting of the conservative activist.

At a Friday afternoon press conference, FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed that Robinson was taken into custody following a multi-agency manhunt.

According to Patel, more than 11,000 tips flooded in from concerned citizens, community members, and online observers in the 48 hours following Kirk’s murder.

“This was one of the most intense response efforts we’ve seen in recent years,” Patel said. “And it was the American people who helped us bring a suspect to justice.”

Kirk, 31, was shot while speaking at an outdoor campus event organized by the Utah Valley University chapter of Turning Point USA, the national youth political organization he founded.

Just after 12:20 p.m. on Wednesday, as Kirk engaged with students seated under a canopy, a single high-powered rifle shot struck him in the neck. He collapsed instantly as students screamed and scattered for cover. He was transported to a nearby hospital, but pronounced dead within the hour.

According to Utah Governor Spencer Cox, who joined Patel at the press briefing, a significant breakthrough came after the FBI released enhanced surveillance images of the suspected shooter, showing a young man wearing aviator sunglasses, a baseball cap, and a shirt with an American flag motif. The man had arrived at the university driving a gray Dodge Challenger.

Gov. Cox stated that it was Robinson’s own father who recognized the surveillance image and contacted a family pastor. The pastor, working with federal authorities, played a key role in convincing Robinson to surrender peacefully.

“He saw the image, and he knew,” Cox said. “What followed was an act of conscience and bravery. The family acted responsibly, and we are grateful for their cooperation.”

Investigators also revealed that Robinson had been communicating on Discord, a popular messaging platform, both before and after the shooting.

Screenshots of the chat, submitted to authorities by a roommate, revealed Robinson discussing the suspected murder weapon — a Mauser 30.06 bolt-action rifle — and coordinating how to return to the scene to retrieve it.

One of the most disturbing findings was that the bullet casings left behind by Robinson were etched with messages, including “Hey Fascist! Catch!,” “Bella Ciao,” and “If you read this, you are gay lmao.”

“These were not random acts,” Patel said. “This was a targeted, politically motivated attack, carefully planned and chilling in its execution.”

FBI Special Agent in Charge Robert Bohls provided a technical overview of the shot that killed Kirk. Bohls confirmed that Robinson fired from the roof of the Losee Center, a campus building located approximately 200 yards from Kirk’s location.

“This was a calculated sniper shot,” Bohls stated. “The weapon used was a high-powered, bolt-action rifle consistent with long-range accuracy.”

Bohls said investigators recovered the weapon along the path that Robinson is believed to have taken while fleeing. The rifle has been sent to an FBI forensics lab for ballistic matching.

Authorities also recovered forensic evidence at the suspected shooting location, including a palm print, a footprint, and a forearm impression on the rooftop ledge — believed to be from Robinson stabilizing himself while taking the shot.

Additionally, investigators are examining Robinson’s digital communications, including further Discord chats with an as-yet-unidentified individual. These chats reportedly included discussions about attire, how to blend into the crowd, and where to hide the weapon afterward.

Friends and family of Robinson have told authorities that his political views had intensified in recent years. During a recent family gathering, he allegedly expressed discontent over Kirk’s scheduled visit to UVU, saying that the conservative activist was “spreading hate.”

Robinson, who lived off-campus and has not been confirmed as a student at Utah Valley University, had reportedly isolated himself from many of his former social circles. Neighbors described him as quiet but intense, often speaking about “rising authoritarianism” and “propaganda from both sides.”

FBI Director Patel stated that while Robinson had no known criminal record, his online behavior, particularly on anonymous chat platforms, indicated a growing disdain for political figures he considered divisive.

“We’re seeing more and more cases where radicalization doesn’t happen in person — it happens online, in echo chambers, in digital silence,” Patel said. “This is one of those cases.”

Newly surfaced video from the day of the shooting shows Kirk seated at the front of a student gathering, responding to questions in a calm and conversational tone.

Just seconds before the shot, Kirk appears to pause and turn slightly to his right — moments later, he slumps forward from the force of the bullet. Chaos erupts as students scream, some dropping to the ground while others sprint away.

“I was ten feet away,” said one witness. “He was answering a question about free speech. And then it happened.”

Medical staff on-site immediately performed emergency triage, and Kirk was rushed by ambulance to a local trauma center. Despite efforts to save him, the gunshot wound had severed major arteries. He was declared dead shortly after arrival.

His death has sent shockwaves through the conservative world and beyond. Vigils were held in multiple states Thursday night. Flowers, candles, and messages have filled the plaza where he was killed.

President Donald Trump, who had a close personal relationship with Kirk, appeared on “Fox & Friends” early Friday morning to confirm Robinson’s capture and to speak about the man he referred to as “the finest person.”

“I think with a high-degree of certainty, we have him,” Trump said. “Someone who knew him turned him in.”

Trump added that he hoped Robinson would face the death penalty and that Kirk’s work would not die with him.

“He didn’t deserve this,” Trump said. “He worked so hard, and everybody liked him. He was like a son to me.”

Erika Kirk, Charlie’s widow, has become the voice of a movement reeling from loss. In a powerful speech delivered Thursday night, she vowed to carry on her husband’s work and legacy, saying, “The cries of this widow will echo around the world like a battle cry.”

She has since remained out of the spotlight, but insiders confirm that she is working with Turning Point USA staff to continue the organization’s campus initiatives.

Robinson remains in FBI custody at a secure facility in Salt Lake City. Formal charges are expected to be filed by Monday, including first-degree murder, terrorism-related enhancements, and illegal use of a firearm in a public institution.

Federal and state prosecutors have indicated that they will pursue the death penalty.

Meanwhile, the FBI continues to investigate whether Robinson acted entirely alone or if there were others involved in planning or facilitating the attack. Authorities are focusing on the unidentified individual with whom Robinson communicated on Discord.

Security has been tightened on campuses across Utah, particularly those hosting political speakers or affiliated with national organizations. UVU has suspended all campus events until further notice.

Turning Point USA has announced plans for a national memorial event, expected to be held next month, to honor Kirk’s life and work.

“This was not just a political figure lost,” said Kash Patel. “This was a father, a husband, and a leader whose voice carried across the country. And we are going to ensure that voice is not silenced.”

Alan Dershowitz said he wants to publish “important” files related to Jeffrey Epstein — the dead sex criminal whose case remains a lightning rod — but claims judicial seals are blocking him…

[6

post-19507","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-breaking-news
["GET
