Is Starfleet Academy in danger of becoming a Discovery spin-off?<\/strong><\/p>\n Star Trek: Starfleet Academy<\/em>\u00a0won\u2019t officially drop on Paramount Plus until Jan. 15, 2026, but the upcoming streaming series continues to make headlines in the press months ahead of its release. Showrunners Noga Landau and Alex Kurtzman already have a full roster of characters in place to help tell their 32nd century story, but another familiar face from a somewhat controversial\u00a0<\/p>\n Matt Webb Mitovich revealed via his subscription site,\u00a0Matt\u2019s Inside Line, that he had spoken with none other than Sonequa Martin-Green of\u00a0<\/p>\n “Let me tell you something \u2014 it would be so much fun. I\u2019ll put it like that. And I will also say that Alex Kurtzman did it on purpose. He put\u00a0<\/p>\n Now, are most Trekkies really interested in seeing Captain Burnham, or even other characters from\u00a0Discovery,<\/em>\u00a0show up on\u00a0Starfleet Academy<\/em>? After all, while critics doted on the now defunct\u00a0<\/p>\n How do you feel about Sonequa Martin-Green possibly showing up in\u00a0Star Trek: Starfleet Academy<\/em>?<\/p>\n Martin-Green is an immensely talented actress \u2014 one needs look no further than her riveting performances over the years on\u00a0<\/p>\n It\u2019s already\u00a0BravoCon<\/strong>\u00a0week, but\u00a0Karen Huger<\/strong> is proof that it\u2019s never too late to score a seat! The Real Housewives of Potomac OG has officially been added to the list of talent for BravoCon 2025, marking what seems to be her first public appearance since her release from jail earlier this year.<\/p>\n Bravo released\u00a0the full BravoCon schedule\u00a0weeks and weeks ago. At the time, there was no sign of Karen on the roster. However, over the weekend, eagle-eyed fans noticed that the artist formerly known as the Grande Dame had been added to the lineup on BravoCon\u2019s official website.<\/p>\n It\u2019s a surprising move, considering that Karen has kept a low profile since her September 2 release from jail. She served six months\u00a0following her DUI conviction. We briefly saw her release during the\u00a0RHOP Season 10 premiere, leaving the door open for a potential return ot the show. Other than that, she\u2019s been quiet. It seems like that\u2019s about to change this weekend.<\/p>\n At this point, it\u2019s unclear exactly how Karen will participate in the festivities. While her name appears on the official list of attendees, she\u2019s not currently scheduled for any specific panels. For example, the Real Housewives of Potomac panel takes place on Friday, November 14, and Karen isn\u2019t listed as part of that group. Still, her presence is enough of a present.<\/p>\n Karen\u2019s addition to the lineup also raises questions about her castmate,\u00a0Wendy Osefo. She\u2019s been facing\u00a0legal troubles of her own \u2014 arguably bigger than Karen\u2019s. As of now, Wendy is still slated to appear at BravoCon, meaning the Potomac ladies are going to have all eyes on them.
