Gina Kirschenheiter\u2018s boyfriend, Travis Mullen, has requested temporary sole custody of the three children he shares with his ex-wife, Meghan Mullen.<\/p>\n

Months after being denied a prior request for emergency sole custody of the children, Travis, 40, who appears alongside Gina, 41, on The Real Housewives of Orange County, is hoping to strip her of joint legal and physical custody, which she\u2019s had since November 2021, and limit her to supervised visits with daughters Presley and Bennett and son Joseph.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have reached out to local police to enforce the current order, but they have not been helpful. I am concerned for [the son\u2019s welfare] and feel that the \u2018system\u2019 has completely failed him,\u201d Travis wrote in court documents filed on October 29, per Us Weekly. \u201cThis behavior on the part of [Meghan] has been occurring for over a year and I feel that nobody is advocating [for his son]. I need assistance from the court to ensure that [his son\u2019s] needs are met, that my son and I continue to have a close and loving relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Travis, Meghan has not let him see one of their children since September 29, and has also not been bringing them to school, which has led school officials to threaten to report the issue to the District Attorney.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, in her own court documents, filed on October 30, Meghan claimed their son doesn\u2019t want to spend time with him and insisted she\u2019s in touch with the child\u2019s school about their missed days.<\/p>\n

\u201cTravis continues to misuse the court process to get his way,\u201d she wrote. \u201cHis [court] filings appear intended to punish and control me, not to protect the children. Travis is using the family court system as a tool of coercive control and retaliation. In addition to litigation abuse.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meghan then claimed Travis refuses to allow their children to call her when they are with him and signaled RHOC.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe children are exposed to comments \u2026 about their private lives due to the public nature of Travis\u2019 media appearances,\u201d she alleged.<\/p>\n

Then, in a second filing, Travis fired back, stating that he was \u201cdeeply concerned\u201d about their child and denying her claims against him, including her suggestion that he tampered with her social media accounts and that their child is afraid of him.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf [Meghan] really believed any of our children were afraid of me, why hasn\u2019t she sought emergency orders?\u201d Travis asked. \u201cWhy does she allow our two older children to come stay with me during my custodial time? The fact is that none of [Meghan\u2019s] allegations are true.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also said he had not stopped their children from calling Meghan.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is another false allegation offered by [Meghan]. It was actually [Meghan] that would deny me phone contact with the children. Further, I have never punished the children for wanting to talk to their mother, and never said that they could not call their mom,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n

Following Travis\u2019 initial request for sole custody in March, he and Meghan agreed to have a child custody evaluator assess their situation and submit their findings to the court.<\/p>\n
