In an interview with\u00a0Page Six, Emily gave her professional legal opinion of the felony fraud charges against Dr. Wendy.<\/p>\n

Emily began, \u201cI know Wendy, and I think it\u2019s lovely. She\u2019s always been so kind to me anytime I\u2019ve met her.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI did kind of dig into their case and read about it. It doesn\u2019t look great. I\u2019ll just say that.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u00a0do<\/em>\u00a0hope she has some kind of solid defense. I read some things. They were saying that the search may be illegal. We\u2019ll see what happens with that.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI definitely follow it because it\u2019s legal, but I would say it doesn\u2019t look great.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt seems like they have a lot of evidence [against Wendy]. It doesn\u2019t look amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Last month, Wendy was\u00a0booked for fraud.<\/p>\n

She is facing 16 charges \u2013\u00a0which includes seven felonies<\/em>\u00a0\u2013 for allegedly making \u201cfalse\/misleading info fraud in excess of $300.<\/p>\n

She\u2019s also facing one misdemeanor count of making a false statement to an officer.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wendy and her husband,\u00a0Eddie Osefo<\/strong>, reported a burglary in April last year, claiming \u201cthey found their bedroom ransacked after returning from a trip to Jamaica.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to the prosecution\u2019s bail recommendation documents, the couple reportedly told police several designer bags and jewelry had been stolen. However, Wendy was later seen in a social media post wearing a diamond ring she claimed was stolen.<\/p>\n

It was determined there was a plan in action all along. Several of the items the Osefos claimed were stolen had been purchased \u2013 and returned for refund \u2013 by The Osefos.<\/p>\n

They concluded Wendy and Eddie returned items to the store \u201cwhere a full refund was provided prior to the alleged burglary\u201d still claiming they were stolen.<\/p>\n

The documents indicate the couple had claimed a $450,000 personal property loss to an insurance company.<\/p>\n
