The new era of Vanderpump Rules will introduce us to a new generation of SURvers. However, Shayne Davis is the one person in the group who doesn’t actually work there. According to his cast bio, he finds his way into their drama despite not being an employee at the restaurant.
On the surface, that makes it sound like Shayne has the makings of a perfectly messy reality star. However, long before he got mixed up with the SURvers, he survived a life-changing incident.
According to Bravo’s The Daily Dish, Shayne keeps “one foot in and one foot out of the pool of ladies at SUR.” Scroll through his Instagram, and you’ll be treated to an assortment of shirtless photos and clips from his acting gigs. In between the ab pics, there was one post where he shared insight into his backstory. He nearly lost his life following a series of bad choices.
“August 19th 2012 I got shot a couple times in the back which nearly took my life and paralyzed me below the waist,” Shayne wrote, along with a series of photos showing his recovery.
He continued, “The consequences from an adolescent drug addiction and poor role models. I was told I may never walk again but by the grace of a power greater than myself I was given a second chance at life.”
Shayne admitted that he doesn’t have a “perfect track record” in life, but he’s proud of how far he’s come. After regaining the ability to walk, he committed to a sober lifestyle. He’s three years into it, and he’s passionate about helping others struggling with addiction.
“Since then I have had the honor and privilege of working with at risk drug addicts in the treatment space in an attempt to pass on what has been given to me. A new life,” Shayne wrote.
Shayne said that these days, he celebrates his sober anniversary like it’s his birthday, because it’s when his “second life” began. Now, we’ll follow him as he embarks on his next new chapter on Vanderpump Rules.

Months after igniting (and proceeding to fuel) breakup rumors on social media, Cory Wharton has revealed that he and longtime girlfriend Taylor Selfridge are “still together.”

star shared the status of his relationship while answering fan questions recently on TikTok. During the Q&A, Cory was asked if he and Taylor have ever rewatched the 2017 season of Ex on the Beach
on which they met. After revealing that he and Taylor haven’t, Cory said he believes that he and Taylor are “the only couple [from the show] that’s still together.”

Still, as those who watched Season 3 of Teen Mom Family Reunion will remember, Cory’s reluctance to propose to Taylor was a major issue in the couple’s relationship, with Taylor repeatedly telling her baby daddy that she wanted to marry him and that she was tired of making excuses to people about why he refused to make things official with her. At one point during the season, Taylor even admitted to Cory that she felt embarrassed to go to the grocery store with a cart-full of kids and no engagement ring.

While Cory and Taylor have heavily hinted on social media for months that they are no longer together, neither officially confirmed the split. Cory revealed in September that he and Taylor were still living together and that they were “dealing with what we’re dealing with, outside of you guys.”
He went on to tell fans that he would “open up” about the status of his relationship “when the timing is right.”
The news of Cory and Taylor’s seemingly rekindled romance comes on the heels of the couple’s three-year-old daughter Maya undergoing a successful open-heart surgery called the Fontan. Taylor reported that the procedure had improved Maya’s oxygenation levels, as well as her overall coloring. (As

Taylor was recently asked on social media if she wanted to have more kids in the future, and while the mom of two said she doesn’t think she’s “done” having children, she also admitted that she’s unsure if she wants to be pregnant again.
