General Hospital Spoilers November 17: Tempers, Confessions & Confrontations for Trina, Dante, Emma & Britt

Tempers flare across Port Charles as secrets, guilt, and fury explode, setting the stage for confrontations that could change everything.

The General Hospital spoilers for Monday, November 17, focus on some seriously volatile emotions, anger being one of them. Expect Britt and Emma to face off in an inevitable confrontation. The acting police commissioner is also dealing with an anger issue. As for Trina, she must be dealing with a whole mess of emotions, including fear, guilt, and more fear, because she suddenly wants to confess. (Find out what else happens next week on GH).

Key Takeaways

It’s no secret that the teens’ mission to break into Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) lab turned into a debacle. Rocco (Finn Carr) was arrested, while Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) and Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) had to confess to their parents and others, so they could help Rocco. Even though Emma (Braedyn Bruner, who recently marked a major milestone) called off the illegal activity after Ned had a heart attack, she and Gio (Giovanni Mazza) felt all kinds of guilt for including the younger teens in the first place. They know they should never have put them in this position.

But they thought Rocco had the best chance at stealing Britt’s key fob, and Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) knows it. There is already bad blood between Britt and Emma, but on Monday, the two are set to face off and have it out. We shudder to think of the fallout after these two go head-to-head. They will both give as good as they get.

Additionally, Britt will be on an even bigger tear because, at Rocco’s arraignment, he was railroaded. The new charges were more severe and carry larger sentences, which won’t sit well with Britt. Emma may need to brace herself.

Meanwhile, Trina (Tabyana Ali) may also face her own legal troubles. She and Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) were at Drew’s house the night of the attempted murder, and Kai walked off with evidence that could direct the PCPD’s focus towards Portia. They also destroyed the evidence.

The guilt and fear must be getting to Trina, because she wants to confess. And that wouldn’t be good for her family.

On the first day of Dante’s tenure as acting police commissioner, he had to deal with his son’s legal troubles. But he stayed calm, cool, and collected. And he made sure he didn’t let anybody see him treating his son with preferential treatment.

But that calmness could only last so long. On Monday, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) loses his temper. Does he direct his temper towards someone in particular? Gio and Emma were the ones behind the plan to break into the lab. Are Dante and Gio about to have a problem again? Let’s hope not. They are this close to having a breakthrough. It feels like Gio is ready to accept his Quartermaine status and his status as Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) and Dante’s son.

While Lulu (Alexa Havins) confides in Carly (Laura Wright), Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) confers with Felicia (Kristina Wagner). Alexis hired Felicia to gather information about Portia’s whereabouts the night of Drew’s shooting. Felicia quickly figured out that Portia (Brook Kerr) lied about her alibi. Will Felicia give Alexis enough ammunition to bring Portia’s name up to the PCPD?

The long-running civil lawsuit against Alec Baldwin stemming from the fatal 2021 Rust shooting has reached a breaking point. The actor is now facing unprecedented legal jeopardy after attorneys for gaffer Serge Svetnoy revealed a crucial piece of evidence in court: Baldwin allegedly refused to appear for a legally required deposition, yet was photographed attending a taping of Dancing with the Stars to support his wife, Hilaria Baldwin.

This blatant display of personal convenience over judicial obligation has reportedly infuriated the presiding judge, leading to an alleged threat to not only impose a colossal $3 MILLION FINE but to escalate the penalty by making it a CRIMINAL legal precedent, citing Baldwin’s conduct as a profound disregard for the rule of law.

For months, Svetnoy’s legal team has been attempting to secure Baldwin’s deposition—key testimony for the civil suit where Svetnoy claims he suffered severe emotional distress after witnessing the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

On November 12, Svetnoy’s lawyer revealed the shocking pattern of evasion: “In every instance, [Alec and the other defendants] claimed to be unavailable or simply refused to testify.” The documents specifically point out the hypocrisy of Baldwin’s excuses:

The lawyer wrote: “Despite claiming to have work commitment throughout most of September 2025, Alec, 67, would travel to and appear in Los Angeles, California, at the taping of an episode of Dancing With the Stars to support his wife.”

This act of prioritizing a televised celebrity appearance over a court-ordered duty has been presented as definitive proof of Baldwin’s BLATANT disregard for justice.

Sources close to the Los Angeles Superior Court claim the judge was incensed by the evidence of the evasion. While the $3 million figure is tied to potential punitive damages in the civil suit, the judge allegedly threatened to use this case as an opportunity to set a dramatic CRIMINAL legal precedent for non-compliance with subpoenas.

The judicial threat is reportedly twofold:

Maximum Penalty: The judge is said to be demanding Baldwin face the MAXIMUM penalty for civil contempt, which could include massive fines and even potential incarceration if the contempt is deemed willful.

Criminal Precedent: By linking the $3M financial penalty to the deliberate evasion, the court could send a chilling message to high-profile defendants, essentially classifying a calculated refusal to testify—particularly when balanced against non-essential public appearances—as an obstruction of justice that warrants unprecedented and potentially criminal consequences.

Svetnoy’s attorney quoted Albert Einstein in the filing, stating, “‘The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.’ [Svetnoy] now moves [to] break this cycle of insanity.” The court appears ready to grant that break—with catastrophic consequences for the actor.

The legal fallout from the Rust tragedy continues to mount, but this latest development threatens to redefine the legal repercussions for celebrity defendants who believe their fame exempts them from court-ordered duties.
