The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that disgusted Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will leave town over Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) mistake. Will Lily reject her ex’s plea and declare she’s done with Cane for good?
The countdown is on when it comes to Christel Khalil’s maternity leave, so fans are eager to see how Y&R might write Lily out for a bit.
The show may be opening up an easy exit path for Lily based on the latest Cane and Phyllis developments.
After all, it was a little odd when Lily suddenly started defending Cane out of the blue and showing compassion that she wasn’t really showing before.
The real reason for that may have been to set Lily up for a disappointment that could drive her right out of Genoa City.
It’s possible some of the sparks between Cane and Phyllis are real, but they’re definitely manipulating each other.
After getting passionate in the November 18 episode, Phyllis spied on Cane as he tried to guess her password and sneak on her laptop to find proof she stole the AI program.
Of course, Phyllis didn’t tell Cane what she saw and let him continue their passion in the shower.
Lily later saw the pair coming downstairs together looking like a happy couple, which Cane definitely didn’t plan on.
Since Cane was so willing to jump in bed with Phyllis for whatever reason, Lily may decide she’s done entertaining the idea of a second chance.
Part of Lily wanted to believe that maybe Cane was right about their next chapter, but Cane may have just thrown cold water on that fantasy by sizzling with Phyllis.
Even if Cane tries to explain his manipulation, that may not change Lily’s mind.
Cane might plead with Lily to understand, but she may reject his games and decide she needs to put some distance between them.
This could lead to Lily taking an extended vacation from Winters and spending some time with the twins off-screen.
Even if Lily continues working, she could do it remotely and perhaps focus on a project outside of GC.
Regardless, Lily may be so disgusted with Cane that she decides to leave town temporarily.
Lily can come back after Christel Khalil’s maternity leave is over, but she needs a reason to exit in the meantime.
The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest Cane’s Phyllis screwup may tie in with Lily’s departure strategy, so stay tuned for updates on the bad news that may be headed his way.

DANCING with the Stars judge Derek Hough has called out Carrie Ann Inaba for her harsh criticism of Whitney Leavitt’s performance.
Carrie Ann didn’t go easy on the contestants during Tuesday night’s semi-finals.
She made that clear when critiquing The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star’s first routine of a Cha Cha for Prince Night.
The seasoned judge wasn’t as enthusiastic about Whitney and her partner Mark Ballas’s performance as the rest of the ballroom.
However, it wasn’t because of her moves, but due to her “focusing on the technique” too much, which Carrie Ann pointed out she hadn’t done in her previous dances.
Derek, on the other hand, had a completely different take on the pair’s routine and ripped Carrie Ann for her harsh feedback.

“Carrie Ann, you are out of your mind!” the former pro DWTS said before praising Whitney’s “perfect” performance.
He also noted that dancing a Cha Cha so late in the game was “really risky,” but the Hulu star had gotten “better and better.”
Fellow judge Bruno Toniolo agreed, and they both gave scores of 10, while Carrie Ann locked in a score of 9.
Fans were outraged by Carrie Ann’s less-than-impressed remarks, especially when the other judges had the opposite opinion.
One X user wrote, “Shocked Carrie Ann didn’t like Whitney’s dance enough to give her a 10.”
Another said, “Carrie ann ruining another whitney perfect score i have to laugh.”
A third remarked, “Carrie Ann scoring Alix and Whitney appropriately… what’s going on?”
And a fourth echoed, “Carrie Ann is out of her damn mind! Mark and Whitney danced a perfect Cha Cha to 1999!”
Carrie Ann had a slight change in her tune during the second round when she praised the duo for delivering her favorite routine of theirs to date in the competition.
However, she and Derek butted heads once again when she slipped in that they experienced “a bit of a hop,” despite her applauding them seconds earlier.
Carrie Ann has been accused all season of “favoritism,” particularly of coming down hard on the female competitors.
Her words might have had serious weight on viewers, as Whitney ended up with the fewest votes and was eliminated.
