“OUR LITTLE WARRIOR ARRIVES!”: Krystal Nielson & Miles Bowles Welcome Baby #2, Rowan Vincent Bowles, Sharing Heartfelt Moments and Joy With Fans

He’s here!

Fans first met Krystal Nielson on Season 22 of “The Bachelor,” and she went on to appear on Season 5 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”

Since her time on the Bachelor Nation shows, she has found love off-screen with her husband Miles Bowles. The two welcomed their daughter Andara Rose in 2021.

In 2023, Krystal revealed she was diagnosed with perimenopause while trying to conceive their second child and has been keeping followers updated with their fertility journey online.

Earlier this year, the couple announced that they were expecting their second child — a baby boy. And now, Krystal and Miles’ baby has finally arrived!

In a new post online, Miles shared, “Welcoming our little warrior, Rowan Vincent Bowles. His entrance into the world was dramatic and filled with unexpected complications, but by nothing short of miracles, both mom and baby are here and safe.”

Miles continued, expressing his gratitude for the medical staff and the next steps for their family.

He said, “We still have a recovery road ahead, but we are overwhelmed with gratitude — for the heroic doctors, nurses, and medical teams who fought for them, and for every single prayer and message of love from our family and friends.”

Miles ended his post by saying, “Praying that Krystal and Rowan will both be home safe and sound soon. Thank you for holding us close in your hearts. ”

It seems that Krystal and baby Rowan are still in the hospital healing, as Miles posted photos of the three of them in the NICU.

Loved ones and fellow Bachelor Nation stars filled the comments with their love, congratulations, and prayers for a speedy recovery.

We are so glad that Krystal and baby Rowan are okay, and we’re sending all our love to their family.

We hope recovery continues to go well, and congratulations to Krystal, Miles, and their entire family on their beautiful new addition!

In the wake of the highly controversial Golden Bachelor finale—where Mel Owens chose not to propose and Cindy Cullers dramatically walked away—the retired NFL player is finally shedding light on the intensely personal reasons behind his “no engagement” stance. While critics slammed him for “wasting the women’s time,” Mel has confessed that his refusal to commit to a proposal was not a sign of deceit or coldness, but an act of SELF-PRESERVATION rooted in DEVASTATING past heartbreak.

Mel’s revelation completely changes the context of his final conversation with Cindy, arguing that he was emotionally incapable of “taking a leap of faith” after the crushing failure of his previous long-term relationship.

Mel Owens was married for over twenty years to his ex-wife, Fabiana, and the end of that marriage was reportedly far more painful and complex than he let on during the show. Sources indicate that the depth of the heartbreak and the legal/financial fallout left him with a severe emotional barrier against rushing into marriage again, particularly under the high-pressure, short timeline of reality television.

Mel Owens reportedly admitted in a post-show interview: “The ‘no engagement’ wasn’t about the women; it was about protecting myself. I went through a devastating divorce, and the idea of promising ‘forever’ after just six weeks felt reckless. I was ready for commitment and love, but not a legally binding proposal. My refusal to commit immediately was an act of self-preservation—I couldn’t risk that level of pain again.”

Mel insisted that while Cindy was looking for a partner who “got struck by lightning,” he was looking for a slow, steady love built on mutual trust and time outside of the artificial bubble. His repeated insistence on dating for “two more years” was a reflection of the emotional timeline he genuinely needed, not a fabricated excuse.

Mel’s confession reframes the finale as a clash between his emotional trauma and the expectations of the show’s format:

Mel’s Perspective: He was honest about his emotional availability, stating he wasn’t “there” with his heart and head to propose to anyone, citing the common saying: “First comes love, then comes marriage.” He claims a forced proposal would have been “disingenuous.”

Cindy’s Perspective: She viewed his refusal to promise an engagement as a fundamental lack of commitment, feeling that a man in his “golden years” shouldn’t need “two years” to decide.

By claiming his slow pace was born from the trauma of his past, Mel is arguing that his “no-ring stance” was the most honest he could be, choosing to risk being misunderstood rather than making a promise his heart wasn’t ready to keep. This commitment to an honest, slow burn is what ultimately resonated with Peg Munson, who accepted a commitment ring rather than a proposal.
