Farrah Abraham is fielding some concerns after letting her daughter continue to get new body modifications.
The Teen Mom star, 34, shared a joint post on Instagram on Monday, Nov. 17, with her 16-year-old daughter Sophia after the teenager got ear gauges and her belly button pierced. In the photo, Sophia can be seen wearing goth makeup and showing off her new jewelry while her mom snaps a pic in the mirror.
The two also included two videos, one of Sophia getting gauges put in and another of her stomach getting pierced.
“New body modzzz belly piercing and ear gauges best piercer ever @sideshowfrank and best mother ever @farrahabraham <33,” their caption read.
In the comments, many expressed concern that Abraham was letting her daughter get tattoos and piercings at a young age.
“Ok there’s a stopping point where you have to choose to be a parent or friend . She’s so young to be doing all these things . That’s why there are age limits,” one person wrote.
“If you are already experiencing and doing all this at such an early age, what is there left to experience? Why the rush?” another wrote.
Sophia’s newest piercings come a few weeks after Abraham let her daughter get permanent fangs installed. The teenager posted a video on Instagram in October where she could be seen standing with her mom before getting her teeth put in.
After they’re in, Sophia smiled and showed off her two fangs on either side of her mouth. “Finally got permanent fangz ♀️ Thank you,” Sophia wrote in her caption, tagging the place where she got them done.
Earlier that same month, the teenager revealed she had gotten her first tattoo. On Oct. 8, Abraham shared multiple videos on her Instagram as she documented the big day.
In one video, Farrah and her daughter appeared to tease that the teenager might be pregnant, writing, “We have a surprise for you guys…” adding a pregnant woman emoji.
Sophia lifted her shirt to show off her tattoo, which stretched down the sides of her stomach. “I got my first tattoo!!” they wrote over the clip. Sophia’s tattoo appeared to be six bats, three on each side of her stomach.
