Ava and Sidwell sparked on General Hospital last week. This could be the beginning of a very hot, but very dangerous, new relationship.
Sidwell (Carlo Rota) hasn’t had a love interest since Holly (Emma Samms) back in Africa. Of course, Lucy (Lynn Herring) wants him, but the feeling doesn’t seem mutual.
Every Ava (Maura West) relationship is fun to watch. She and Rick (Rick Hearst) lit up the screen for a while, but, not surprisingly, money got in the way, and then she locked him in a basement, which put the nail in the coffin on their love affair.
Sidwell needs art for Wyndemere, and Ava is the only art dealer in Port Charles. Additionally, she once lived in the castle, making her the perfect person to help him with the decorating. They met, and there was obviously more than art going on in their conversation.
Ava has questionable taste in men. She once fell head over heels for serial killer Ryan (Jon Lindstrom), believing he was Kevin (also Jon Lindstrom). That choice led him to kill her daughter. Then there was Nikolas, who isn’t really a horrible guy, but the two were toxic together. The same can be said for her romance with Rick. Sidwell is just the type of guy that the gallery owner would fall for.
Sidwell conducts his research and is aware of the strained relationship between Ava and Sonny (Maurice Benard). They may share a child, but the two have been feuding for years. Avery’s (Ava & Grace Scarola) mom can be wicked, and he realizes she would be a great asset to his team and would be happy to bring Sonny down.
Jenz and Ava are the perfect evil power couple. They may give the mob boss a run for his money and take over Port Charles.

Matt assumed that Sharon and Nick would be in shambles when they showed up in Los Angeles. What will happen is that Matt will lose Sienna to Noah, which will bring out his dark side.
