Jason Chambers appeared on Monday night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, where the Below Deck: Down Under captain denied having hooked up with Heather Gay amid the series’ crossover episode with The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
As he also revealed who flirted with him and his crew the most, named the cast member he bonded with the most, and reacted to Aesha Scott, 33, not inviting him to her wedding, Jason, 53, confirmed which Bravolebrities he had interest in, recalled a past issue with Luann de Lesseps, 60, and shared what to expect from season four of BDDU.
“No, it’s not true,” Jason confirmed of his alleged hookup with Heather, 51, on the November 10 episode of WWHL. “[But] we hung out in Sydney … [We] went down there for Bravo.”
According to Jason, it was “definitely” Britani Bateman, 54, who flirted with him the most during the cast’s charter — before “[she] moved on to the other crew.”
As for the rest of the cast, Jason said Mary Cosby, 53, was the pickiest eater, noted that he bonded most with Angie Katsanevas, 51, since he was “looking after her” amid her illness, admitted that Mary scared him the most, and said Whitney Rose, 39, had the dirtiest room.
Then, when asked about not being invited to Aesha’s 130-person wedding, Jason said that although they were “close,” they weren’t wedding-close.
“I’ve been doing it for three decades, and we’re very close, and we had two seasons together, and they were great seasons. But that doesn’t mean we’re wedding invite level. We don’t hang out after the show, but we actually respect each other … I was married before. I couldn’t fit people on,” he reasoned.
During a game of “Sink ‘Em or Save ‘Em,” Jason chose to sink Lala Kent, 35, Erika Jayne, 54, Alexia Nepola, 58, Carole Radziwill, 62, and Adriana de Moura, 59, and to save Kiki Barth, 36, Porsha Williams, 44, Ashley Darby, 37, Lindsay Hubbard, 39, Salley Carson, 30, and Ciara Miller, 29.
He also chose to save Luann after admitting that “something happened” between them at the last BravoCon.
“I said something wrong. I don’t even know what I said, so I’m gonna save it for friendship,” he explained.
Looking back at the RHOSLC cast’s charter, and the way in which he darted from the horror dinner, Jason admitted to feeling that Daisy Kelliher, 37, should’ve gotten him out of there sooner.
“Daisy and I had a big talk about that. We had to have hand signals after that,” he explained.
Regarding how the episode would play out on Below Deck: Down Under, Jason admitted, “There was a lot going on.”
“Daisy started with some hurdles straight away, so she actually had to put in a lot of effort straight away, and then Ben coming back trying to, that was a… He had to get some cobwebs out, and what I will say is the relationship between sitting in the crew mess watching Ben and Daisy work together, that’s a comedy show,” he teased.
Later, on the WWHL: After Show, Jason was asked to describe the upcoming fourth season of Below Deck: Down Under.
“That’s very tough to put in three words … challenging, emotional, and successful,” he replied.

As an employee led them to the exact table where their love story began, Paulie’s mind was racing. “I was so nervous, my knees where knocking,” he confessed. “I’m like, ‘What are you doing? Don’t start getting sad, you’re meant to be happy!'”
While he was trying to deliver a heartfelt speech, Dolores was still completely oblivious, even joking to the employee, “Wouldn’t it be funny if we got engaged here?”
Then, he pulled the box from his pocket. That’s when reality hit. “I immediately said yes,” Dolores gushed. The ring, a show-stopping 11-carat centerpiece from John Anthony Jewelers, was a testament to his devotion. “Go big or go home,” Dolores laughed.
This wasn’t the first ring Paulie had bought. He revealed he’d purchased a stone years ago, but after getting to know Dolores better, he realized it was the “opposite of what I got.” This new ring, which he’d had for over a year and a half, was perfect.
The proposal was a symphony of sentimental details. The date, November 10th, was the same day Dolores had moved in with him four years prior. The celebration dinner was at Rocco’s steakhouse, the site of their very first date. “There’s not a thing this guy didn’t think of,” Dolores said.
