Mary Cosby and her husband, Robert Cosby Sr., are being targeted by a new documentary about their controversial church, Faith Temple Pentecostal.
In a just-released trailer for the three-part TLC special,
The sneak peek clip shared by TMZ on November 12 features rare footage from the church’s early days, recordings of Mary and Robert Sr.’s sermons, and more.
“Mary Cosby is the villain that you love on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,” Adam declares in the just-released trailer as a woman notes, “Mary being married to her step-grandfather was the only that people could talk about.”
“This was the reason that people were watching the show,” Adam agrees.
Then, the RHOSLC cast member’s sister is seen addressing the marriage between her and Robert Sr., who welcomed their only child, son
“He was saying that God was telling him to marry my sister. Next thing you know, she’s in his house and they’re doing God knows what,” the sister recalls.
Another woman notes, “I absolutely believe that Mary and Robert are running a cult,” as Adam suggests that members of Faith Temple Church believe that Mary “is God.”
Others accuse someone of destroying their family “to put Robert and Mary first” and claim “Mary’s kink is money.”
Also in the shocking sneak peek, as Adam states, “If you have skeletons in your closet, you better not join a reality TV show,” another man warns, “It’s time for people to know the truth.”
The Cult of the Real Housewife premieres on Thursday, January 1, at 8/7c on TLC, with all three episodes of the special becoming available on Max and Discovery+ on January 2.
Selling Sunset‘s Chrishell Stause shocked fans of the Netflix show when she announced on November 7 that she was leaving. Now, she’s claiming that
Chrishell joined Selling Sunset in 2019 for the show’s first season. She quickly became a fan favorite, but she has also been at odds with multiple co-stars. Additionally, she, along with
Carlos King recently shared a clip from a previous interview with Chelsea, where she discussed the microaggressions she receives from some of her
She continued, “And my intentions are always so pure, like I’m very much a lover. I have no malice in my heart for anyone in the world.” Chelsea went on to say there are undertones of people perceiving her as “aggressive” or as “a bully.” She later began to cry in the interview, and she stated that the same behavior from her co-stars is labeled as them standing up for themselves.
Chelsea also mentioned that her “closest friends” on the show were Chrishell and Emma Hernan, and that they have “leaned in” to support each other.
Chrishell caught wind of the emotional 2024 interview and left a comment. She said, “This is heartbreaking. And WHY you shouldn’t have an all white production company with an exec producer credit and editing power to Jason who has power to say, if you don’t take that out, there is no show.”
Carlos later responded to Chrishell, saying, “@chrishell.stause we love you for standing up for Chelsea and our community as well ”
In other Selling Sunset news, according to US Weekly, Chrishell has unfollowed practically everyone from the show since announcing her exit. However, she is still following Chelsea.
