DANCING with the Stars pro Brandon Armstrong is still upset over being eliminated too soon, and he let judge Carrie Ann Inaba know it in an awkward face-to-face confrontation.
The tense moment happened backstage after Tuesday night’s DWTS episode, which celebrated the show’s 20th anniversary by bringing back former pros and contestants.
Since his elimination earlier in the season, Brandon, 31, has hosted the official TikTok live after show with co-star Britt Stewart.
Britt, 36, was eliminated in the first week of voting with partner Baron Davis while Brandon was voted out the following week with his partner, Lauren Jauregui from Fifth Harmony.
Many fans thought both eliminations were unfair and premature, specifically Brandon and Lauren due to the judges “largely underscoring” them.
Brandon was able to address the situation after the show this week when he confronted Carrie Ann, 57, face-to-face backstage,
“Y’all gave me the same score as Andy that night I got eliminated,” he fired off to Carrie Ann while interviewing her for the TikTok live.
“You can do it, bring it on. I was always waiting for you to bring it up,” Carrie Ann responded, seeming to know the confrontation was coming.
“Me and Lauren tied with Andy and Emma the week that we got eliminated,” Brandon repeated, which resulted in Carrie Ann grimacing.
The judge looked very uncomfortable for a moment while the live’s co-host, Britt, appeared shocked and said “uh oh.”
“Honestly, you want to know why?” Carrie Ann warned him.
Brandon then looked nervous and shook his head, adding: “Actually you know what? I don’t. I don’t,” he said with a laugh, before asking: “We botched it?”
“No, you didn’t botch it. You didn’t botch it. We’ll talk about that one day,” she responded as she gave him a hug.
They went on to shift the conversation, as it appeared as though neither wanted to discuss the details that led to Brandon and Lauren’s low scores.
Most of the DWTS fans thought Carrie Ann deserved the confrontation, with one writing: “Honestly, he deserves to be a little bit salty. I feel like CAI does him dirty every season.”
“Good for him for putting the heat on, I’m surprised this doesn’t happen more often (at least not these days),” said another.
“The problem with CAI, will always be her inconsistencies. She did it yesterday as well, not giving any critique to Dylan and Robert on their frame, stiffness etc. giving them all 10s applauding them like they won Blackpool,” a third wrote.
“I couldn’t finish last season specifically because of how harshly she critiqued Chandler every time,” another said, of Brandon’s partner last season, Chandler Kinney.
However, others defended the judge, with one insisting: “And yet he probably wouldn’t ask Derek this question. I love Brandon but he seems rot only call out CAI when all the judges gave the same score that night.”
While one more deduced: “I love her because you can tell she really cares, but for her she clearly picks favorites and lets it affect her scoring.”
Tamar Braxton’s marriage to Vince Herbert has been a subject of public scrutiny for years. Many people have speculated that Tamar married Vince for his money, but as the couple’s story unfolds, it’s clear that their relationship was more complex than that. While their marriage did have its challenges, it’s important to separate fact from speculation.
One thing that stands out is the way Vince Herbert himself explained their relationship. He once stated that Tamar had her own money before meeting him. Contrary to what some believe,
This small but telling detail dispels the notion that their marriage was purely about financial gain. What makes their story even more significant is the fact that Vince never made Tamar sign a prenuptial agreement
. This speaks volumes about his trust in their relationship and his belief in their commitment to each other. Tamar, having the option to walk away from the marriage with everything in the divorce, chose instead to leave with nothing, a gesture that showed her love for Vince was genuine. Her choice to leave everything behind is a powerful reminder that sometimes love is about what you give, not what you take.
However, things didn’t remain perfect, and their marriage eventually began to suffer. As with many relationships, the challenges arose when they began mixing business with marriage. Vince, a well-known music executive, and Tamar, a rising star in her own right, were both heavily invested in their careers. Unfortunately, this blend of business and personal life put a strain on their relationship, and they found themselves struggling to maintain a balance.
It’s no secret that the pressures of the entertainment industry can create stress on even the strongest of relationships. Tamar and Vince’s story was no different, and their journey together is a testament to the complexities that come with fame, business, and personal lives intertwined. The constant media attention and the expectations placed on them added layers of difficulty to an already challenging relationship.
While their marriage ended in divorce, it’s important to recognize that their love for each other was real, even when things started to fall apart. The public’s view of Tamar and Vince’s relationship may have been clouded by rumors, but the truth remains that their bond began with love, and it ended because of the strains that come with mixing love and business.
Despite their differences and the ultimate breakdown of their marriage, Tamar and Vince’s story is a reminder that love is never as simple as it seems from the outside. There were real emotions, real challenges, and real sacrifices made. For Tamar, the lesson learned was that love and career need balance, and sometimes, walking away is the hardest, yet most necessary, decision.
