t’s official: Chicago P.D.’s LaRoyce Hawkins has earned his place in People’s Sexiest Man Alive portfolio for 2025 — and One Chicago fans know the honor has been a long time coming.
Watch Chicago P.D. Wednesdays at 10/9c on NBC and next day on Peacock.
The outlet declared the actor as one of the sexiest “Hot Cops” on television for its latest iteration of the annual list. He earned the honor alongside fellow NBC star and beloved
During a November 7 interview with People celebrating his inclusion, Hawkins spoke about his body transformation over the years, revealing which feature he’s been told is his sexiest.
“My bottom lip,” Hawkins revealed. “It’s hard not to look at.”
The star explained that he’s gotten so much attention in recent years that married women routinely come up to him with a shocking — and hilarious — confession that never fails to make him blush.
“Wives pull up on me with their husbands sometimes and they claim I’m their hall pass,” Hawkins admitted. “Most husbands, they do a good job of being good sports about it.”
Despite officially being deemed one of 2025’s sexiest men on the planet, Hawkins explained that he wasn’t always known for his good looks. In fact, he had an unfortunate nickname early in his One Chicago tenure, which began when he first brought Kevin Atwater to life in
“They used to call me ‘Fatwater’ because I was a lot thicker, a little more round back then,” Hawkins said. “There were some things I had to improve on over time.”
Fortunately, in the years since, Hawkins is the healthiest he’s ever been. The 37-year-old credits a combination of diet, exercise, and an overall focus on healthy, clean living for transforming him into yet another One Chicago heartthrob.
“I like to think that it’s definitely done a great thing for me and just my health overall… I feel so much better than I did when I started the show. I didn’t even know — not that I felt bad — I just didn’t know how much better I could feel,” Hawkins told the outlet. “13 seasons later, you could just see the difference… I’m very grateful for everything that I’ve learned and the new habits that I’ve been able to pick up.”
Fans can catch Hawkins in new episodes of Chicago P.D. Season 13 every Wednesday at 10/9c on NBC. As always, P.D.
closes out every Windy City Wednesday following new episodes of Chicago Med and Chicago Fire at 8/7c and 9/8c, respectively.
New episodes are always available on Peacock the day following their original airing.
Mary Cosby is known for bringing sharp one-liners and unexpected comedy to “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,” but behind the scenes, her family has been navigating a difficult chapter. Before season 6 premiered, her son Robert Cosby Jr. faced arrest—and now, Mary is opening up about how the situation has ultimately served as a turning point in his life.
In a new interview, the RHOSLC star revealed how the family has been processing the incident, how Robert is doing today, and why the experience may have been exactly what he needed.
Mary told People she now believes the incident was an unexpected turning point.
“It was for his good,” she said. “I think he needed that. He’s never encountered anything like that. He’s never been through anything like that.”
She admitted the situation initially devastated her.
“It hurt me at the time. I was worried; I was scared,” she shared. “But some things happen for a reason to show you the path you’re on.”
Robert echoed that sentiment, telling the outlet he is taking life “day by day.”
“I’m not where I want to be, but I’m certainly not where I used to be,” he said. “I will get there!”
Mary also clarified details surrounding the arrest, sharing that Robert’s wife, Alexiana — who had been staying with the Cosbys — is now living elsewhere.
“They snuck out to be together and got caught,” she said. “So the parents made sure that he [was arrested for trespassing].”
Despite the chaos, Mary believes the separation has helped him refocus.
“It became a blessing in disguise,” she said.
Mary revealed she first learned about Robert’s drug use through direct messages from viewers.
“I was like, ‘What are they talking about?’” she said. “At first, I was clueless.”
Eventually, she confronted him directly — a moment filmed during season 5.
“He just was real and honest, and he told me the truth,” Mary said. “I didn’t judge him. I respected it.”
The RHOSLC star believes his honesty was the first sign he wanted to change.
“When you hide something, you don’t want to change it,” she explained. “If he’s talking about it, it’s because he wants to change.”
As for season 6, Mary teased a highly emotional, dramatic run ahead.
“This year is so amazing. It draws you in,” she said. “I’m proud of all the women — except Britani [Bateman]. I have no reason to be proud of Britani.”
New episodes of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” air Tuesday nights on Bravo.
